Last Tuesday I went to a yoga class, I wish I could go tonight but Sir Lancelot is doing intermural basketball. But luckily they have a yoga class on Thursdays. I'm really looking forward to it, I'm excited to learn a lot more so that I can do it at home as well. I know there are yoga DVDs, but it's just not the same. I love the class, the instructor is great at correcting our poses individually. They are small classes which make it a little more intimate.
Last night they were offering a free pilates class, something they are just now starting next week. It was a great intro class, followed by a nutrition seminar. I think I'm going to really enjoy the pilates class as well.
Running, I haven't run since Saturday, and I'm still a little sore, haha. I'm looking forward to Sir Lancelot getting home from school so I can get in a good run. I used to not like running. In junior high I was in cross country and track, and I still didn't care for it, it was more of a social thing for me. But now, I'm running for me, and it feels great. So here is to enjoying fitness, for me.
